February update

Sorry, haven't kept up our blog. We tried to buy a townhouse recently but we quickly found out that it wasn't probably going to happen quite yet, so we're hopefully moving on to plan number 2. Get rid of debt in the next year and then try again later. That all depends on a gift that was given to us for the specific purpose of buying...we're hoping we can use it for the debt part which in turn will drasticly help us to buy. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Karisma got her first report card (they have parent/teacher conferences first quarter and then the first report card for the second quarter. She did wonderfully of course. We're always proud of her. We have our applications in for the partial immersion programs at various schools and will be getting her applications for the magnet schools in today. This just helps due to some questionable schools that of course we live in their area. Since Fairfax County has such wonderful schools, we're trying to make sure she gets one of the better ones that don't depend on us living in their district.

Rane is doing well. He's been growing so much, his slim pants are a little tight around the belly! A first for a Qfamily child :) He loves preschool and is really smart. Some of the stuff he can come up with is hysterical. We have however found that it is not a good idea for him and Karisma to come up with a scheme together...something will be destroyed or someone hurt lol.

Erik and I are doing well too. The house thing was quite hard to take, but we're trying to accept that it wasn't part of God's plan at this exact moment. Maybe someday it will be. Well, that's all I can think of at the moment... More later :)
